#OAFlash Contest

#OAFlash is a Periodic Blog Contest Event. Dates are tentative and subject to change.
A flash fiction contest without a Twitter character limit. Biweekly – give or take – the Operation Awesome blog will post a <1000 word count and writing prompt. Submit your flash fiction within those guidelines directly into the comments section for the given contest, including your name and Twitter handle. Winners are chosen only a few days later.
The best way to get the dates of this contest is to subscribe to the Operation Awesome blog, as they only post prompts a day or two before submission closes. Generally these occur on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month.
See the prompt on the hashtag #OAFlash or the host @OPAwesome6. If there is no prompt, that week’s contest may have been cancelled. The original informational page for this Event can be found here.

[li]Microsoft Office Word is used to count words. Going over the limit disqualifies you.[/li]
[li]It must be obvious that your story is associated with the prompt.[/li]
[li]Past winners can participate, but they can’t win again for three months.[/li]
