The Utah Original Writing Competition is for work by Utah writers in any of the following genres: “previously unpublished book-length novels, creative nonfiction and history, poetry or short story collections, and juvenile literature, plus smaller awards for individual poems, stories, and essays.” (Quoted from here.) Prizes up to $1000 depending on category.
