The NUHA Blogging Prizes [youth/adult] is for personal essays or short stories of various ranges between 300 and 1500 words (dependent on age category) by authors aged 10 and up. Prize is up to $2400. Each age category has several image prompts on which the submissions should be based. NOTE: This contest does involve a public voting mechanic, so beware; however, there is also judging involved, and thus it has been included on Free Writing Events.
