The Daily Mail First Novel Competition (UK/IRE) is for novels for adults of manuscript length (submit 3000-word sample and synopsis) by any UK/Ireland author aged 16 or older. Prize is £20,000 and potential Random House UK publication. All genres except sceince fiction, fantasy, and sagas are accepted. Book cannot have been self-published or previously published.
