Note from site host: Wow, this calendar is currently tough to read, isn’t it? This is because the calendar has been ported to a new website. New posted events from here on in will direct to the new site–so you’ll only have to tolerate this for a little bit :)

#SFFPit Pitch Party
December 8, 2016
#SFFPit is a Periodic Twitter Pitch Party for science fiction and fantasy books seeking agents or publishers.
Write a 140-character pitch for your science fiction or fantasy book and post it within the time frame with the hashtag #SFFPit. Include age hashtag & the Event’s official genre hashtags (they go into more detail than your usual #SF or #F). You can tweet up to once per hour with a possible total of ten times within the pitching window of 8 a.m. EST to 6 p.m. EST.
If an agent or editor favorites your pitch, submit a query to them according to their personal submission guidelines and include “#SFFPit Request” in your email Subject. As of December 2016, ReTweeting other people’s pitches (preferably adding your own quote of encouragement) is now allowed. However, do not Like other pitches. It gives the participants heart attacks.
This Event occurs in June and December, respectively. The original informational page for this Event can be found here. The host of #SFFPit is @DanKoboldt.
