ENDING: Ocean Awareness Student Contest (Youth)

The Ocean Awareness Student Contest is for poetry, prose, film, or art by middle or high school students on the theme of “Ocean Pollution: Challenges & Solutions.”
Summary
All creative formats must adhere to the theme “Ocean Pollution: Challenges & Solutions.” Each category will receive separate prizes at both high school and middle school levels. Prizes within each of these sections is as follows:
Grades 9-12: (1st – $1500) (2nd – $1000) (3rd – $500) (10 Honorable Mentions – $250)
Grades 6-8: (1st – $1000) (2nd – $750) (3rd – $250) (10 Honorable Mentions – $100)
There will also be prizes for teachers, for the first place winners’ schools, and for the “Making Waves” award. Deadline for entries is June 19th, 2017.
