The Judith A. Markowitz Award for Emerging LGBTQ Writers is for LGBTQ-identified authors who have published 1-2 books. The award is granted to the author, not to the book, and so it focuses partially on the author’s contribution to LGBTQ communities. Two prizes of $1000 each.
