#DVPit Pitch Party: Children’s/Teen

#DVPit is a Periodic Twitter Pitch Party for books written by – or about – members of a diverse, underrepresented, or marginalized group. The first day is for children’s and teen books.

Write a 140-character pitch for your book and include the hashtag #DVPit. Post only once per hour. Modifying hashtags are optional.

This contest runs from 8am to 8pm EST.

Diverse voices include “people of color; people living and/or born/raised in underrepresented cultures and countries; disabled persons; people with illness; people on marginalized ends of the socioeconomic, cultural and/or religious spectrum; people identifying as LGBTQIA” and more, according to the host site.
