DESCRIPTION:Writer’s HQ Competition is a Periodic Web Contest for either a novel opening or a short story. \nSubmit either the first words of a novel\, a full short story\, or a flash fiction piece up to 1500 words. Also include a short application statement up to 500 words describing how you could benefit from the following prize: a year’s free access to the writer’s retreat courses at Writer’s HQ\, valued at 500 pounds. Both the writing sample and essay should be included in one document and submitted via online form. There are no genre or theme limitations.
